Catastrophic Bleed Control Course - 1/2 day Course
A cost effective way of delivering training to a number of staff, we come to your workplace and deliver directly to your workforce. We can also tailor the training to suit the Staff and Business needs including delivering evening and weekend training.
DESCRIPTION
Where the risk assessment identifies a high-hazard setting where there is a risk of severe blood loss through injury, then training in the use of haemostatic dressings is essential. This workshop will equip learners with the necessary skills and knowledge on how to apply a Tourniquet and Haemostatic dressings,and on theinherent dangers associated with the use of Tourniquets and Haemostatic Dressings.
DURATION
This is a non-accredited short course, lasting 3 hours.
CERTIFICATION
A CPD certificate is issued to all learners. This course can be delivered in conjunction with the Emergency first Aid at Work or First Aid at Work qualifications.
NUMBERS
A maximum of 12 learners can be accommodated on this course.
