DESCRIPTION
The objective of the course is to raise awareness of the causative factors and types of musculo-skeletal injuries (particularly back injuries), and how such an injury can affect the individual, the employer and society, and to provide instruction and facilitate the application of inanimate load risk assessment, including the safer handling of inanimate loads and application of ergonomic principles, to ensure the health and safety of staff
DURATION
This is a half day course.
CERTIFICATION
A Certificate will be awarded upon completion of the course, and assessment will meet the requirements of the All Wales NHS Manual Handling Training Passport
